Braner/Loopco has commissioned Paragon Steel’s new Ultra High Strength 72-inch Turret Head Slitting Line that has the capacity to process 72-inch-wide 30-ton master coils .010 inches to .250 inches of hot rolled, cold rolled and coated coils with mechanical properties up to 150,000 psi (1035Mpa). The new line features a shape correction precision CNC Cluster Leveler designed to produce superior quality slit coil.
Home to the new slitting line is a 40,000 square-foot expansion to Paragon’s Plant One in Butler, IN. The addition of the fourth slitting line and building expansion enhance Paragon’s growing processing and program management capabilities.
